Faces of Art Dance Video

This is the film of us dancing that was playing during our exhibition. It was projected almost life size!

We were filmed performing in our local park, we were very lucky with the weather that day!

When we choreographed the dance we talked about emotions and feelings, we wanted the dance to have our own movements in it, we each chose a move and the dance was built around them. Some of the movements are things that we do all of the time, things that express our personalities or give us comfort.

The filming was done by Sean Finnie editing by he and Ali, the film is in two distinct parts, the first act is set in an urban environment the second act is in a more natural setting.

The soundtrack is by Kode9 and Spaceape, we were thrilled when we were allowed to use this track, we think it fits perfectly with the dance, so thanks again to them!

Please also go to we are poets and experience our 'soundscape'

Celebrate with us!

Our exhibition was FANTASTIC!!!

The work on the walls looked AMAZING!

We were HAPPY, PROUD and EXCITED!

Lots of people came to see our work, friends, family, staff past and present! It was wonderful to have the opportunity to share our work and our experiences with them all!

EVERYONE said VERY nice things about our work!

We served Pimm's and soft drinks as well as nibbles - it was very posh!

We gave flowers to our dance workers Linda and Nicole and wine to Sean to say thanks for all their hard work! We surprised Ali and her Mum (who had flown from Birmingham to help Ali get the exhibition ready) by getting them beautiful flowers too!

We'd like to say a GREAT BIG thank you to Awards for all Scotland for funding the project!

We're going to put up more pictures and hopefully our 'soundscape' and short film for you all to see, so you can share our excitement too!
