Faces of Art Dance Video

This is the film of us dancing that was playing during our exhibition. It was projected almost life size!

We were filmed performing in our local park, we were very lucky with the weather that day!

When we choreographed the dance we talked about emotions and feelings, we wanted the dance to have our own movements in it, we each chose a move and the dance was built around them. Some of the movements are things that we do all of the time, things that express our personalities or give us comfort.

The filming was done by Sean Finnie editing by he and Ali, the film is in two distinct parts, the first act is set in an urban environment the second act is in a more natural setting.

The soundtrack is by Kode9 and Spaceape, we were thrilled when we were allowed to use this track, we think it fits perfectly with the dance, so thanks again to them!

Please also go to we are poets and experience our 'soundscape'

You're invitation is...

...in the post!!!

Well, maybe not actually yours!

Today we filled, stamped, labeled and posted 175 invitations to friends, families, social workers, other support services, charitable trusts and to Awards for All Scotland - who's funding made this project possible!

"PHEW!"
We're glad that job's done so we can tick it off our list!

We just hope lots of people come and support us on the night!
(fingers crossed!)

Art exhibition update!

This is the front of the invitation to our exhibition!

We're all really excited about it, the 11th of May suddenly seems very close!!

Look out for lots more posts about it over the next couple of weeks!

We hope you'll all feel like you were 'virtually' there even if you can't actually join us for the evening!

Dance update...

We're still working on our light graffiti dance project.

Our dance is finished now so last week we went to our local skate park and performed our dance - the skaters were really interested in what we were doing! We filmed the dance and took lots of photo's!
